This is the house I grew up in. I drew this when I was taking art class at a local community college. The senior art students who passed by it would say "Nice darks" so I knew I was doing well. It is always good to draw what you love because it shows. This hangs at my parent's house. After we framed it and hung it in the dining room, my Daddy would tell everyone who came to see us, "Let me show you something..." and he would lead them to my drawing. It is an heirloom we will pass on.
