Odd Shot Monday 5/5/08

Bet you can't guess what this is... or where it was taken? I have decided to make this a contest. My very first one. If you can guess what it is, or whoever comes the closest to it, will receive one of my hand made postcards. Let the guessing games begin... Once I see all your answers, I will let you know who won then you can give me your address in an email. Good luck.

If you would like to participate in Odd Shots Monday, please go to the following...

I wish to leave you with this wonderful quote send to me today...

Take full account of the excellencies which you possess,
and in gratitude remember how you would hanker after them, if you had them not.

Really, really different! I need to ponder this a while. ;-)

It is a fish taken at an aquarium.

That sounded like I really knew what I was talking about, didn't it? Hahaha

I really don't have a clue, it's my best guess!

Well that guess about a fish threw me. It never crossed my mind and she could be right. But I have two guesses: a hair decoration. Or an art piece of an eye ball with those tendrils being the stuff that keeps our eyes in place (yuck). OK, a third. a representation of an alien. Like in some movie I never saw except for the ads. DO I WIN???

I was going to say I have no clue, but then a clue kind of jumped at me. Of course it could jsut be the red herring that distracts fromt he solution. Somehow some sort of mollusk shell comes to mind. But it is too odd to be true.

Well, it was a display I saw in Dillard's towel dept. Those are towels behind it which gave it a neat effect. To me it looked like some sort of fish. Since Sharon was the 1st to say fish and I really liked Andree's answer about the "art piece of an eye ball with those tendrils being the stuff that keeps our eyes in place.." so I am declaring you my two winners. If you will email your addresses to bvoyesal@aol.com, I will be sending you one of my handmade postcards soon... Thanks for participating. I had fun doing this. I'll do it again.
