Once again I am thankful for all my artistic ideas and art I have been creating lately especially the past couple of weeks. It seems I am on another roll and loving it! I am so thankful for the joint project with my son as I posted in my previous post for ABC Wednesday M is for... My Mom, Mother & Son Art. Rhett even wanted to do another one! Now I think he wants to be a graffiti artist. LOL
I have to admit I was a tad bit disappointed to see only 3 comments on my post for yesterday. Not that I get a lot of comments anyway. So I went back to the ABC Wednesday's site or owner's blog http://mrsnesbittsplace.blogspot.com/ to ensure my comment was indeed there and it was. As I was posting from the library and running short on time, I only had enough time to simply say, "My post is up...". I didn't have time to look at any other than Mrs. Nesbitt's blog. Then we had to go get mom tin foil and go to church. Today I saw where Mrs. Nesbitt has a link to my blog which made my day! She has me listed as Becky not Quoth the Rav or the RAV but that is fine with me. I am just happy to be there. It isn't every day I am linked.
Then I read the 3 comments on yesterday's post. I had a very interesting one from a published author, Gregory E. Lang. He is working on a new book about mother/daughter relationships and he thought I might like to make a contribution to his book! How exciting! Just to be asked is indeed an honor. A contributing writer. WOW!
I have been praying for additional income to come falling from the skies. LOL Sadly, it has not happened. This would not be a paid endeavor. For many months now I have been contemplating getting paid for others to read my blog. So if any of you out there in blog land has done this successfully, please let me know... Thanks.
So to be or not to be a contributing writer? That is THE question.
I am also thankfull Rhett and I got to see my friend Bob after Rhett's orthodontist appointment yesterday. Rhett has to have 3 teeth pulled in two weeks or else our regular dentist will have to remove them. I was so excited to be seeing Bob after all these months that I just chattered away like a complete idiot. Rhett became his father by asking why I was jumping from one subject to another, but Bob seemed to be following me as most of my good friends are able to do. Before we left, Rhett wanted me to show Bob our picture we made. Rhett worked on his graffiti again last night. The boy is going use up all my markers! LOL
Ironically my fortune cookie for today said:

Congrats sweet one, be blessed.
Thanks, Denise.
God bless.
How exciting to maybe be a contributing writer :) You never know what kind of fruit it will bring.
I know that some bloggers use 'paid-per-post'...I don't know - I have never checked into it. No sure if you can pick the advertiser or not.
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this past week.
Be blessed today and always.
