Walking Tree

I took this one the 4th of July when we were walking along the Alabama side of the Chattahochee River. We had never been along the promanade before that day so I got lots of awesome pictures. This was one of them. As soon as I saw it, I said, "Ooh, look at that tree. It looks like it is walking!" Yes, DiXymiss, I had to revert back to old tree photots again although I had two more shots I could have used that no one probably could have guessed what they were. But I will save those for another Odd Shot Monday. Now that the computer has been sort of fixed and I can get on my blog, I can post earlier than normal for me. Can't wait to see your Odd Shots...

I had a bit of excitement yesterday. I was awarded not one but two blog awards! Yeah! Thanks again, Nancie for making my day. I am surprised I could sleep last night as I was walking on air.

I have a prayer request... our oldest daughter is have female surgery today. Please keep Elisa in your prayers. I know hysterectomies are as common now as tonsillectomies but still we would appreciate the prayers. Thank you.

It is always odd when trees like this have the soil eroded away. Trees on stilts.

That reminds me of the Ent in Lord of the Rings. Cool shot!

Becky, you make me smile. Looks like a daddy long-leg (spider) to me. Adding my prayers for your daughters care and recovery.

Blessings,
